A delightful song for any time of the day. ‘Paadatha Paatellam Paada Vanthaal’ is a Viswanathan and Ramamurthy composition with light notes, lifted by PB Sreenivas and S Janaki’s vocals. Anandhan sways with a guitar late at night, singing about his love.
This was Anandhan’s second movie after Vijayapuri Veeran, and Sachu’s first as a heroine. The film has the song, ‘Roja Malare Rajakumari’ which shot Sachu to fame. ‘Vethala Potta Pathini Ponnu’ is another favourite. AC Tirulokchandar made his debut as filmmaker with Veera Thirumagan in 1962. Soon, he made more than 25 films with top stars like Sivaji Ganesan, MGR, Gemini Ganesan, Ravichandran.
