‘Unakkulle Mirugam’ from Billa 2 was Ajith and Yuvan’s fifth collaboration. The album released on Ajith’s birthday, May 1 in 2012, amidst rage that was a first even for Ajith Kumar.
The film tells the story of an ordinary man becoming David Billa, an underworld don. Yuvan builds this song on the trademark Billa title track, with guitars and chords that hold attention till the end. This was also one of the few songs for which the lyrics were written first by Na Muthukumar, and set to music later.
