Krack: Varalaxmi Sarathkumar Wraps Up Shoot

Actor Varalaxmi Sarathkumar on Tuesday wrapped up shooting for her upcoming Telugu film Krack, starring Ravi Teja and Shruti Haasan in lead roles. 

The actor took to Twitter and posted pictures from the set on Wednesday to make the announcement. 

Director Gopichand Malineni posted the same picture on Twitter and wrote: ”Last day shoot to our #jayayamma @varusarath such a lovely n fantastic Actress #krack.”

Varalaxmi’s character in the film is named ‘Jayamma’, while Ravi Teja is playing the role of a police officer. The film is an action drama and said to be based on true incidents from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

Written and directed by Gopichand, the film is being produced by B Madhu, bankrolled under Saraswathi Films Division production banner.

The film also features Samuthirakani, Ali Basha, Chirag Jani and Devi Prasad in pivotal roles. Cinematography has been handled by GK Vishnu, with Naveen Nooli in charge of editing. S Thaman has composed music for the film.

Varalaxmi left for Hyderabad on October 25 to resume shooting for the film.

Initially, the film was supposed to release on May but due to the Covid-19 pandemic, shooting was delayed and its release had to be postponed.

On October 24, Ravi Teja announced on Twitter that the film will release during Sankranti in 2021. The tweet read: “Let’s get krackin’ Wishing you all a happy Dussehra!! Stay safe, see you soon in Cinemas”

Varalaxmi was last seen in a Telugu action drama Danny, which premiered on Zee5.
