The Hindi distribution rights of I have been sold to Anil Thadani, husband of actress Raveena Tandon. The film will be distributed outside South India under his banner, AA Films. A source close to the film’s producer Aascar Ravichandran told us that Mr Thadani was impressed with the teaser and visuals of I and felt that it would do very well in North India. Now that the rights have been sold, plans are on to hold a grand audio launch for the Hindi version of the film in Mumbai.
AR Rahman is hard at work on the background score of the film and we hear that Aascar is confident that the film will hit screens around Christmas 2014.
