Anushka Shetty has signed on to play an important role in the upcoming Sai Baba biopic. According to sources in the know, the actress, who was last seen in Yennai Arindhaal, will play the role of a devotee in the film which has Malayalam actor Dileep in the lead.
A spokesperson for the film confirmed Anushka’s inclusion in the project and told us that shooting for the film is set to begin in June this year in Hyderabad. The movie will be directed by Telugu filmmaer Kodi Ramakrishna and will have Jayaprada in an important role. Plans are on to dub the film in English, Hindi and some major Indian languages.
Anushka’s next big release is the magnum opus Baahubali and Rudrama Devi.
