In the latest, the producers of Puli – Shibu Thameens and PT Selvakumar – have voiced support for Shruti Haasan, refuting the allegations made by PVP Cinemas against the actress.
PVP Cinemas had alleged that Shruti opted out of the Karthi – Nagarjuna project to join Vijay-starrer Puli. The Puli team, on Wednesday, issued a press release stating that the rumors which are doing the rounds about the actress are false.

The release said that the team had requested Shruti Hassan to give them dates from April 1 to April 15, for their final schedule. Reportedly, a huge set has been erected for the movie in Thalakonam district and the producers requested Shruti to join this schedule because the set had to be dismantled in May. Shruti agreed and gave her dates for the Puli team.
The producers, in the press release, have also asserted that Shruti has not signed any other new movie so far.
Meanwhile, PVP Cinemas accused Shruti of breaching their “Terms of Agreement”. After they moved the Court against Shruti, an order was issued forbidding the actress from signing new movies until further notice.
