Actress Meera Jasmine, who was last seen in Vignyani, will play a guest role in Sandakozhi 2, revealed a source close to the production team. To be helmed by director Lingusamy, the film will go on floors on May 1. Reportedly, the makers have not finalized the female lead yet.
Meera Jasmine played Vishal’s romantic interest in Sandakozhi, which was released in 2005. The film went on to become a blockbuster and is considered a landmark film in the duo’s career.
Director Lingusamy is now promoting the Kamal Hassan-starrer, Uttama Villain, while Vishal is busy shooting for director Suseenthiran’s movie with Kajal Aggarwal. He is expected to join director Lingusamy as soon as he completes his current project.
