Actress Lakshmi Menon, who lent her voice fr the song Kukuru in Oru Oorla Rendu Raja, has turned singer yet again for an upcoming film titled Filter Coffee. The film is helmed by Raghav, an 18-year-old debut director. The song was recorded in Kochi last week.
According to a TOI report, the film is a psychological thriller which has Naren Balaji of Aadama Jaichomada fame, Ansari and Sangeetha, in the lead roles. Lakshmi Menon will croon a funky promo song called O Coffee Penne, composed by music director Ramasubramaniam. The song will appear in the end credits of the film.
The lyrics of the song is penned by Sesha, who wrote Vaaya En Veera in Kanchana-2. The lyrics is based on different varieties of coffee. Menon agreed to sing the song after Raghav showed her the visuals of the song.
