Actor-director-choreographer Raghavendra Lawrence has teamed up with Vendhar Movies for two films, the first looks of which were unveiled at a grand event held in Chennai.
The first film, titled Motta Siva, Ketta Siva, will have Kajal Aggarwal as the female lead. The second film is titled Naaga, and according to Lawrence, the film will be the first installment of a three-part franchise like Kanchana.

Tribute To Kalam

Lawrence, at the event, paid tribute to former president APJ Abdul Kalam, and donated Rs 1 crore, the advance money he received from Vendhar Movies, to his new initiative – Kalaamin Kaladi Suvadukal. Lawrence, under this initiative, is planning to support the education of children from poor families, and also plant trees in the city. “My dream is to win the Abdul Kalam award announced by the state government. He is my role model,” said a visibly emotional Lawrence. He also urged his peers and colleagues to contribute to this venture.
Producer Kalaipuli S Thanu, senior editor Mohan, and actors Partheipan and Manobala, who were present a the event, praised Lawrence for his noble deeds. “We decided to collaborate with Lawrence because, apart from being a talented filmmaker and actor, he is a great human being,” said S Madhan of Vendhar movies. “We also have many interests in common.”
