Actor Arulnithi has teamed up with director Arivazhagan, of Eeram and Vallinam fame, for his next film, a remake of director Jeethu Joseph’s Malayalam film, Memories. Shooting for the film will commence in October.

The filmmakers are currently finalising the remaining cast and crew. The story of Memories, which starred Prithviraj, SP Sreekumar, and Mia George, revolves around an alcoholic cop who tries to solve a case of mysterious murders. The remake will be produced and distributed by Sri Thenandal Films.
Actor Arulnithi’s previous film Naalu Policeum Nalla Irundha Oorum was relatively unsuccessful, although his Demonte Colony has been appreciated for its screenplay.
