Actor Ajith and his PRO Suresh Chandra are likely to approach the cyber crime department to take action against a fake tweet circulated yesterday, carrying news of Ajith having had a heart attack. The tweet carried a photoshopped picture of Suresh Chandra’s Twitter account with the made-up news. Suresh Chandra subsequently clarified that the tweet was baseless:
baseless rumours on Mr Ajiths health floated by ugly minnds . Sir is healthy and fine.

Recently, a picture of Ajith in crutches was widely shared on Twitter and Facebook. The actor had been reportedly injured on the sets of his upcoming film Vedalam, but still continued to shoot.
Vedalam starring Ajith, Shruti Haasan and Lakshmi Menon is expected to release during the Hindu festival Diwali. Vedalam’s music album, composed by Anirudh Ravichander, opened to mixed reviews two days ago. The film has been directed by Siruthai Siva.
