Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor was first approached by the makers of NTR 26. However, she couldn’t be roped in as the film’s female lead because of her remuneration . “Shraddha quoted Rs. 3.5 crore, which, obviously, the makers couldn’t afford. Hence, they decided to approach Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who is yet to take a final call in this regard,” a source told Silverscreen.in.
The film, which will be directed by Koratala Siva, is slated to go on floors in January next year. It will be produced by Mythri Movie Makers and will have music by Devi Sri Prasad.
