In a rather shocking development, actor Vishal announced on Wednesday that his project, Sandakozhi 2, which was to be directed by Lingusamy, has been dropped. While the reasons are unknown, Vishal took to twitter to announce the news this way:

Both Vishal and Lingusamy were unavailable for comments. The project was supposed to have Sathyaraj and Soori in important roles, with music by D Imman.
