Spotlight

Actor/Director Mel Gibson doesn’t think too highly of the recent Superman film. “It’s a piece of sh-t,” Gibson told Deadline at the Venice Film Festival,”I’m not interested in the stuff. Do you know what the difference between real superheroes and comic-book superheroes is? Real superheroes didn’t wear spandex. So I don’t know. Spandex must cost a lot.”

Actress Anushka Shetty said in a recent interview, that she works hard to keep herself grounded at all times. “Cinema has made my world a hundred times bigger. I have got many new friends now. I have received a lot of support as well as praise. Even though I am at the pinnacle of fame now, I have not let it get to my head. When I go home, I behave just like any other normal woman of my age.”

With only an 8% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, the latest movie by acclaimed director Gus Van Sant, Sea Of Trees,   isn’t getting any breaks. Starring McConaughey as a man contemplating death in the woods, it’s ironically suffering a quick death at the box office. It’s taken in only $2,730 in its first week in the theatres.
