Udayakrishna has not yet started working on the script. Taking this into account, it is expected that the filming will begin in mid-2017.

The project will be directed by Ajai Vasudevan. Ajai had previously worked with Mammootty in Rajadhi Raja while Udayakrishna along with Sibi K Thomas had scripted Pokkiri Raja and Thiruppugalan for the actor.

Currently, Mammootty is busy with the filming of The Great Father. Sneha plays the female lead in this film that also has actor Arya as the villain.
