Alright, Shruti Haasan has tweeted that she won’t be a part of the Telugu and Tamil remake of 2 States. Now the race is between Samantha and Tamannaah to play the Tamilian Brahmin girl in the adaptation of Chetan Bhagat’s best-selling novel by the same name. A south-based production house has bagged the remake rights of the film and so far, no names have cropped up with regard to the male lead.
We would totally recommend Nani or Dulquer Salmaan, though.
