Raghavaa Lawrence is in talks to produce and star in a remake of Rajinikanth’s classic Mannan. Speaking to Silverscreen Lawrence confirmed that a Mannan remake was being planned, “Shivalinga’s shooting is currently underway. We are planning to shoot a song in Bangkok. Right now, we are only discussing the possibility of a remake of Mannan.”

Raghava has always been open about his affinity for Rajinikanth. Throughout his career, he has attempted to mimic the stylised acting and dancing Rajinikanth made his own. Lawrence also worked as a choreographer for many of Rajini’s films, something that enabled him to have a close relationship with the Superstar. Raghava’s next film is a remake of Moondru Mugam, for which he will write the script. Interestingly, this is a Rajinikanth film as well.
