Sundarapandian fame actor Soundararajan has been roped in for a major role in Thondan.
Award-winning-director Samuthirakani is at the helm of this project that has Vikranth playing an ambulance attendant. Samuthirakani plays the ambulance driver in this social drama.

Soundararaja confirmed the news recently. According to a report in Deccan Chronicle, Soundararajan accepted the role without enquiring about the film’s plot.“I was thrilled when Kani sir offered me a role in Thondan. Without asking what it was about, I just gave my nod, as I am a great fan of his movies. It was a dream come true for me. All I know is that it is a significant role and I essay a character with grey shades,” he said.
The actor is currently busy with the shoot of a slew of films which includes Oru Kanavu Pola where he is playing the lead, Mudi Sooda Mannan and Kallan.
He is also a part of Vishal starrer Kathi Sandai which is set to release this Friday.
