Gautham Menon will begin shooting his next film in January. This film is said to be the revival of Gautham Menon’s Dhruva Natchathiram. It was originally meant to go on the floors with Suriya. The lead role will now be essayed by Vikram, who will reportedly play a spy in the project.
As per a report in Deccan Chronicle, a source close to the director said, “We have planned to roll from January 10 and if that doesn’t materialise, we will start shooting after Pongal.”

The film’s cast and crew will be announced in 2017. “There won’t be any major changes in the crew and Gautham will mostly join hands with his regular team.”
The new project will also see the director joining hands with music composer A R Rahman, post Acham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada. Nayanthara is the front-runner to play the female lead in the movie.
Meanwhile, GVM has put the lukewarm response to his Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada in the past and is all set for the release of his Dhanush-Megha Akash starrer Enai Nokki Paayum Thotta.
