The Special Investigation Team examining the case of Malayalam’s actor’s abduction and alleged sexual assault is looking into the role of a third-party hiring ‘Pulsar’ Suni and the gang to commit the crime. The actor had alleged that the main accused, Suni, while attacking the car on February 17 spoke about the crime being a “quotation”. He is also believed to have told her that he would take her to a flat in Vennela if she kept resisting.

The interrogation of the three accused who are in custody have stated that they aren’t aware of any ‘quotation’ as such. The accused was promised a decent sum by Pulsar Suni, which would come out of the extortion amount by blackmailing the actor. ‘Vadival’ Salim and Pradeep have also confessed that the other absconding convicts Suni, Vijesh and Manikandan sexually assaulted the actor and recorded the heinous act.
