GV Prakash Kumar will play a character with negative shades in Bala’s next movie. A spokesperson for the actor told Silverscreen, “This is a new kind of role for GVP, and a new beginning in his acting career. Bala is known for his hard-hitting, edgy work, and this collaboration between the two will yield huge results.”
This would mark GVP’s second collaboration with Bala. The first was Paradesi, for which he composed music.

Jyothika has reportedly been signed on to play a police officer in the project. A photoshoot with GV Prakash and Jyothika was done last week. The film will go on the floors soon. Ilaiyaraaja composes the music for the film while Bala will produce it under his home banner – B Studios.
At present, GVP is the busiest actor in the Tamil film industry. He has Bruce Lee, Adangathey, 4G, Ayngaran in various stages of production. All these films are scheduled to release this year.
