Actor Kamaal Rashid Khan (KRK) took to Twitter soon after it was announced that Malayalam actor Mohanlal would play Bhim in Shrikumar Menon’s Mahabharata, the film adaptation of MT Vasudevan Nair’s Randamoozham. KRK likened the veteran actor to the cartoon character Chota Bheem.
Sir @Mohanlal you look like Chota Bheem so then how will u play role of Bheem in Mahabharata? Why do you want to waste money of B R shetty?
— KRK (@kamaalrkhan) April 18, 2017
He then went on to defend his comment with comparisons:
U idiot fans of @Mohanlal Aka Laalten Aka Chota Bheem, he has 1.7million follower n I have 3.7million. Calculate to know who is bigger star.
— KRK (@kamaalrkhan) April 19, 2017
U idiot fans of Mohanlal, even Madhur Bhandarkar has got 3national awards + Padma Shri, who is not worth of Ghanta award also. So fuck off.

KRK also felt the need to post about who he thinks would make the perfect Bhim, as well as everybody else:
Starcast of #Mahabharatha– Prabhas- Bheem, Rana- Duryodhan, Aamir- Arjun, SRK-Karan, Ranbir-Abhimanyu, Salman-Eklavya, Deepika-Dropadi!

I would love to play Role of Krishna in #Mahabharata because he was also from Mathura UP like I am from UP.
— KRK (@kamaalrkhan) April 19, 2017
Mohanlal’s fans, meanwhile, responded to KRK’s comments with scathing sarcasm:
