Kamal Haasan’s Vishwaroopam 2, the sequel of the 2013 movie of the same name, has moved to the post-production and dubbing stage. As per a Times of India report, the movie, which has long been delayed, is on track to release soon.
The trilingual film, releasing in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi, is expected to be more fast-paced than the first installment. It has been written, directed, and co-produced by Kamal Haasan himself. Vishwaroopam 2 also stars Pooja Kumar, Andrea Jeremiah, Shekhar Kapur and Rahul Bose in pivotal roles.

The actor had recently told Deccan Chronicle that the Tamil Nadu government had nearly sabotaged the first film. He further said that he wasn’t expecting similar trouble for the sequel. However, he added that the ban on Vishwaroopam had nearly ruined his personal and financial life.
The music for Vishwaroopam 2 has been composed by Ghibran, with Shamdat Sainudeen handling the cinematography. The mega-budget movie has been jointly produced by Aascar Films and Raaj Kamal Films International.
