Independent reviewer Kamal R Khan’s tweets hit a new low yesterday as he took a potshot at actor Ajith Kumar, trolling him on his birthday. He later admitted that the tweet was staged to get more attention on Twitter. He tweeted:
Happy Birthday to real Bhainsa of Kollywood #ThalaAjith! Lol! Kaise Kaise Hero hai South Main! pic.twitter.com/7TnmAyYCiB
— KRK (@kamaalrkhan) May 1, 2017
Predictably, the tweet did not go down well with fans down South, and angered many. KRK also compared the Vivekham actor to Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor and said the latter should be considered a ‘Superstar’ if Ajith is a star.
Bhai Jaan @arjunk26 Agar Ye Ajith Bhi Star hai, Tab To Tu Super star hai! pic.twitter.com/0AddL7YPhW

Ajith fans had much to say in response:
@kamaalrkhan Kaise Kaise log hai north meim

Regardless of the response from fans, it is unlikely that KRK will apologise. If anything, he seems to thrive on attention from his critics, as he recently bragged about how his followers now numbered 3.83 million, in seeming justification of his constant trolling of South Indian actors.
Thanks to 3.8 Million (38 Lakhs) KRKians to follow me. Love you all and kick on the ass of my haters.
