Popular Telugu actor Mohan Babu has acquired the Telugu remake rights of Arima Nambi, director Anand Shankar confirmed the news on Twitter.

Although Anand has revealed that Mohan Babu has bought the rights to remake the flick for his son, it’s uncertain if Vishnu Manchu or Manoj Manchu would star in it.
Arima Nambi, a stylish thriller, was Anand Shankar’s directorial debut. The film had Vikram Prabhu and Priya Anand essaying the lead roles. Drummer Sivamani debuted as a music director with Arima Nambi. Produced by S Thanu, the flick garnered positive reviews. RD Rajasekhar’s cinematography was particularly lauded.
