Parvatii Nair In The Tamil Remake of ‘Maheshnite Prathikaram’

National Award winning filmmaker, Priyadarshan, will soon direct a Tamil movie based on the Malayalam flick, Maheshinte Prathikaram. The film hit the screens in 2016, with Fahadh Faasil in the lead.

Actress Parvatii Nair is also said to be a part of the cast, along with Udhayanidhi Stalin and Namitha Pramod in lead roles. She will be seen reprising the role of Anusree. According to a source who spoke to TNIE, “Her role won’t be the same as that of the Malayalam version, and has been tweaked according to the sensibilities of the Tamil audience.”

The Kanchivaram director is reportedly working on the script, and the shooting will go on floors in three months time. Samuthirakani and MS Bhaskar will also be seen in pivotal roles. 

Parvathy, apart from this, has Anuragam – The Art of Theppu in the pipeline, in which she plays a techie in a live-in relationship. The movie is an anthology of four movies, directed by Jayan Vannery, and also starrng Joju George, Ranji Panicker and Abhirami in the lead roles.

Meanwhile, Priyadarshan is awaiting the release of his movie, Sila Samayangalil, and is also working on the Hindi remake of his last movie, Oppam
