Director Bala’s next, Naachiyaar, is almost finished. The film, which went on floors in March this year, is nearing completion, as per schedule.
GV Prakash, who believes he’ll be seen in a new kind of role in this film, tweeted the update:

Naachiyaar is billed to be a woman-oriented film with Jyothika in the lead, essaying the role of a tough cop. The film is jointly bankrolled by Bala’s home production banner, B Studios, along with EON Studios. Jyothika began shooting for the film as soon as she completed her other women-oriented film, Magalir Mattum.
With music composed by Ilaiyaraaja, Naachiyaar is aiming for a September 28 release.
