YG Mahendran has an interesting new role in Oh Andha Naatkal. The actor will reportedly reprise his role of Carnatic musician JKB from the Sahana TV series. Sahana was based on K Balachander’s iconic Sindhu Bhairavi.

A Times of India report states that actors Khushboo,, Radhika Sarathkumar and Urvashi will reprise their famous roles in this film. Khushboo will appear as Meena from Mannan, Radikaa as Radha from Rettai Vaal Kuruvi, Urvashi as Thiripurasundari from Michael Madana Kama Rajan and Suhasini as Sindhu from Sindhu Bhairavi.
YG Mahendran will appear towards the end of the film, and will have a pivotal part to play as the film’s climax plays out, the actor has said.
Oh Andha Naatkal is slated to release later this year.
