Super star Rajinikanth and Telugu star Mahesh Babu are also in the list of invitees to the Ai audio release function. The star studded event being held at the Nehru stadium in Chennai on September 15th, will have Hollywood star Arnold Schwarzenneger as the Chief Guest. Arnold himself has confirmed this in a video message released late Friday night.
Celebrities from Bollywood as well as the four southern film industries will also be present at the launch. The makers say the superstar who is busy shooting for Linga at Shimoga until September 20th, has confirmed his attendance. The director of the film Shankar himself had met him recently and invited him to be part of the event. Needless to say, Kamal Haasan, who is close to Aascar Ravichandran as well as Shankar is likely to attend the event too.
Director Shankar also met up with Telugu star Mahesh babu while gracing the audio launch function of ‘Aagadu’ in Hyderabad recently. Ai’s makers are hopeful that the Telugu star will return the favour. With its already impressive guest list, Ai audio launch could easily become one of the biggest film-related events in Tamil film industry.
Jaya TV has bagged the rights for the audio release. Tight security arrangements are made at the venue to ensure the smooth conduct of the event.
Ai directed by Shankar stars Vikram and Amy Jackson in the lead. PC Sreeram is the cinematographer and AR Rahman, the music composer. The film will have five tracks composed by Rahman including one sung by Anirudh Ravichander.
