Arnold Schwarzenegger has sent a note of thanks to Aascar Ravichandran and the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, J Jayalalithaa for making his visit an “incredible success”. In his letter to Aascar Ravichandran, the Hollywood actor stated that he was proud to be a part of the audio launch of I. He added that he loved the food, and was blown away by the hospitality. “I have been to the Oscars, the Golden Globes, and every event you can imagine. Let me tell you something – they could all learn from how you stage a production. The whole event flowed perfectly, and the energy there could have powered all of India. The bodybuilders were a fantastic touch and made everything organic. I couldn’t help but take the stage after the performance, because I knew it was the perfect time,” said Schwarzenegger.
In his letter to the Chief Minister, Schwarzenegger thanked her for helping with security. He mentioned that he was touched by the work that the Chief Minister does for women and children. He said, “Four years ago, I started an organisation called the R20: Regions of Climate Action that works with sub-national governments around the world to move towards a clean energy future. Over 560 cities and states have joined us, and I think Tamil Nadu is a perfect partner.”
