The Madras High Court has directed the Chennai police to probe why actor Vishal’s nomination papers for RK Nagar by-polls were rejected, reported The News Minute. The actor had alleged foul play after his nomination paper got rejected on the grounds that the names of the proposers were incorrect.
TTV Dhinakaran had won the by-election with a margin of over 40,000 votes.
