Anupam Kher, Nimrat Kaur, Abhishek Bachchan’s Twitter Accounts Hacked By Turkish Cyber Army

Celebrities like Anupam Kher, Nimrat Kaur, Abhishek Bachchan, Pritish Nandy and even politicians such as BJP General Secretary Ram Madhav and MP Swapan Dasgupta were targeted by a Turkish cyber army known as Ayyildiz Tim.

After their accounts were hacked, the hackers proceeded to change their cover-photos with the image of a missile with the group’s name on it. Tweets such as “I Love Pakistan” and other retweets by the cyber army were posted on the profile.

Anupam Kher’s account was hacked on February 6. The actor had immediately alerted the Twitter India officials to restore his account. After gaining access to his account, he tweeted this along with a “I love India” message.

Nimrat Kaur, too, has had her account hacked. The actress took to Instagram story to share how her Twitter account got hacked by the cyber army.

Ayyildiz Tim was reportedly founded in 2002. They have been able to hack into several high profile people’s account including former Milwaukee County sheriff David Clarke, a supporter of US President Donald Trump, as well as that of Dore Gold, who has served as an adviser to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
