Mani Ratnam announced the details of his film titled Chekka Chivantha Vaanam in Tamil and Nawab in Telugu.
It is a multi-starrer with a star cast of Arvind Swami, Vijay Sethupathi, Simbu, Prakash Raaj, Arun Vijay, Jyothika, Aditi Rao Hydari and Aishwarya Rajesh. Madras Talkies and Lyca Film Productions are producing the film.

The film’s shooting will start from February 12. The music will be composed by AR Rahman, lyrics by Vairamuthu, while Santhosh Sivan helms the camera. This is Mani Ratnam’s first film after Kaatru Velliyidai.
Madras Talkies was co-founded by filmmaker Mani Ratnam and his wife Suhasini in 1995 while Lyca Production was established in 2006 and has been part of some of the commercially well-received movies like Vijay-starrer Kathi. It is also producing Rajinikanth’s 2.0 and Kamal Haasan’s Sabaash Naidu.
