On February 19, Syrian forces backed by Russian warplanes escalated war on Eastern Ghouta with relentless bombing that killed hundreds of people, including children, within days. Nearly 400,000 civilians are trapped as Syria’s government and its allies continue to engage in air raids and artillery.
With photos of the mayhem emerging on social media, of children bloodied and crying for food, celebrities have tweeted showing their solidarity towards the children who continue to lose their lives and live in fear.

So Putin is in favour of a ‘Humanitarian Break’ in Syria. Good for him !!
When he was head of the KGB, he introduced the idea of a ‘Humanitarian Break’ during their torture sessions. Every three hours they would stop torturing someone, clean up the blood, stretch their legs…

Every minute I spend alone is filled with guilt and helplessness seeing the countless little kids, many innocent men and women dying in Syria. As cliched as it may sound, Love and respect for the fellow human is all that matters. I am devastated. #SaveSyria

Shakes me up completely to see the destruction of lives in Syria and Yemen. War mongers keep feeding these wars for their profits n most of the media gives misleading information. Social media passes messages around with utterly wrong n confusing messages. God help the victims ?

Thus far, Russia has reportedly ordered a daily five-hour “pause” in the bombing of Eastern Ghouta. The ceasefire between 9 AM and 2 PM will allow wounded civilians to leave through a “humanitarian corridor” from February 27 onwards.
