After the stupendous success of Queen, Rajkummar Rao and Kangana Ranaut have been paired opposite each other in yet another quirky, comedy film titled Mental Hai Kya.
The makers have released the posters of the films and boy, don’t they look interesting. ‘Queen’ Kangana has definitely got some tricks up her sleeve, as she is back to her crazy avatar in the film. Three separate posters of the film have come out, one featuring Rajkummar and other featuring Kangana.
In one poster, Rajkummar can be seen with tape all over his face, with a bloody crime scene in the background. Kangana’s poster is even wackier, as she can be seen lying in a swimsuit with a chalk outline around her as if she is a murder victim.

However, she has a maniacal and happy expression on her face, making one wonder what the film is actually about. However, the third poster is one which has us all talking about. That one shows Kangana inside a bathtub with a toaster, hair straightener and a few makeup items lying around as she uses a knife as a mirror to apply her lipstick! With the dark maroon lipstick smeared unevenly around her lips, the entire picture can actually scare you. Rajkummar Rao himself is seen with a butcher knife and an apple and blood is oozing out of the apple.

Mental Hai Kya is directed by National Award-winner Prakash Kovelamudi and produced by Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Motion Pictures and Shaailesh R Singh’s Karma Media. Kovelamudi is a popular Telugu actor-filmmaker who bagged a National Award in 2006 for the film Bomelatta.
The film is all set to go on floors this month in Mumbai and the crew will also shooting in London. Earlier, Ekta Kapoor said in a press statement, “Mental Hai Kya celebrates the beauty in imperfections and in being different and shouts out, sanity is overrated! I’m thrilled to work with Kangana and Raj on this one.”
