Actor Atharvaa Murali is currently working on three projects – Eetti, Kanithan and an untitled project with director Sarkunam. In Eetti, Atharva plays a hurdler. Speaking to Silverscreen, Atharvaa said he had to work really hard to get fit for the movie, which requires him to sport a six pack. He also said that shooting for the film is almost complete and it should be released soon.

Atharvaa plays an investigative reporter in Kanithan, directed by TN Santhosh. . “I watched a lot of television news to get into the psyche of the character and get the body language right,” he said, adding that he was intrigued by Santhosh’s script and immediately got on board. The film has him sharing screenspace with Catherine Tresa and Sunder Ramu. Arvind Krishna handles the camera.
In contrast, Atharvaa was not willing to discuss his movie with Sarkunam, only telling us that the project was shot in and around Kumbakonam. Produced by his Paradesi director Bala, the film has Anandhi playing the female lead. The movie was launched about two months ago and as is the norm for all Bala movies, the plot and other details have been kept under wraps. The movie still remains untitled but sources told Silverscreen that the title will be revealed around Deepavali this month.
