Ma Ka Pa Anand, who made his debut through Vanavarayan Vallavarayan directed by Rajmohan is a TV anchor turned actor and a former RJ at Radio Mirchi in Dubai. The film’s title was inspired by Rajinikanth’s character in Baashha (1995). Said to be a fantasy love drama, it went on floors in June 2016 at AVM Studios in Chennai.

Martin, who was one of the top finalists in season five of the reality show, Naalaya Iyakkunar, is quoted as saying in a Deccan Chronicle report: “Two friends (played by Ma Ka Pa and Vatsan) who grow up at an ashram leave the place to achieve something in a particular field. The problems they face during their journey form the crux of the story. It is a comedy film with fantasy elements incorporated.”

“The name is easy and has a nice ring to it. Also, it is catchy and hence the reach will be wide,” he said of the title.
