Ispade Rajavum Idhaya Raniyum features Pyaar Prema Kadhal fame Harish Kalyan in the lead role. According to a DC report, the actor will be playing the role of a biker in the movie. Interestingly, Karthi is playing a biker in his upcoming movie Dev.

Shilpa Manjunath plays the female lead in Ispade Rajavum Idhaya Raniyum. Sam CS is the music composer for the movie, and Ma Ka Pa Anand and Bala Saravanan will be seen in supporting roles.

Talking about Anirudh Ravichander’s song, the director said: “It is a soothing number and is placed in a situation to show the lead pair’s serious romance. I felt his voice would do the magic and when we approached him, he was too glad to perform.”

The director said that his music composer felt the need for a different voice which forced them to hire Vijay Sethupati for a song. “My composer Sam CS opted for a quirky voice for a number taken from ‘siddhar songs’ instead of a regular playback singer. It is more of a monologue and towards the end, Harish Kalyan would continue it as a regular song,” said the director in a report.

“We approached Sethupathi and the next thing he said was, ‘If you think my voice would go well with the narration, I am ready.’ The song was recorded a few days back,” added the director.

Vijay Sethupati was last seen in the Balaji Tharaneetharan directorial Seethakaathi in which he had a guest role as veteran theatre artiste and teacher Aadhimoolam. He plays the main antagonist in Rajinikanth’s new movie Petta, directed by Karthik Subbaraj. The movie reached theatres today.
