Actor Vishal has reportedly signed his next with director Sundar C. This is his third collaboration with the director after Aambala (2015) and Madha Gaja Raja, a delayed project which is yet to released. Vishal is currently shooting for Ayogya which is in the middle of a controversy for its posters.
According to a report, his upcoming film with Sundar C will have the usual commercial elements with comedy, family entertainment, action, etc. The film will star Vishal Krishna in the lead with Thamannah and Aishwarya Lakshmi.
A Cinema Express report says that actor Jagapathi Babu, who was last seen in the Ajith Kumar-starrer Viswasam will play the antagonist in the film. Jagapathi has previously starred as the villain in Vishal’s Kaththi Sandai, directed by Suraj.
Music for the film will be composed by Harris Jayaraj. The principle shooting will commence from March this year.
On the work front, Sundar C is gearing up for Vantha Rajavathaan Varuven, starring Simbu in the lead. The film releases on February 1, ahead of the actor’s birthday on February 3. Megha Akash and Catherine Tresa also play the lead.

Vishal Krishna, who was last seen in N Lingusamy’s action sequel Sandakozhi 2, is currently working on Ayogya, a remake of the Telugu film Temper. Directed by debutant Venkat Mohan, a former assistant of AR Murugadoss, the film has Raashi Khanna playing the female lead, and R Parthiepan, KS Ravikumar, Sachu, Vamsi and Pooja in pivotal roles.
