The title look poster of Musasi, the upcoming Tamil film starring actor-filmmaker Prabhu Deva, was released by filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj via social media on Thursday. Director Sam Rodrigues, who is making his debut with the action thriller, tells Silverscreen India that the film is named after a Japanese warrior and features Prabhu Deva in the role of a cop.
Prabhu Deva’s 58th film as an actor has been titled Rekla and it will be a crime thriller. The actor-choreographer-filmmaker released the title-look motion poster of the Tamil film on Wednesday.

On Thursday, the Tamil Nadu state government announced Kalaimamani Awards for 201 personalities, including writers, singers, dancers, musicians and actors, for their contribution to culture since 2011. The award had been defunct for the past seven years. Popular actors Vijay Sethupathi, Karthi, Prabhu Deva, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar were among the other awardees.
