Sonakshi Sinha Promotes 'Khandaani Shafakhana'

The event’s organiser Pramod Sharma, a resident of Moradabad in Uttar Pradesh, had invited Sinha as the chief guest for an event. Following her absence at the event, he had asked for a refund. However, the actor’s manager refused to pay the amount back and Sharma claimed that he had repeatedly tried to get in touch with Sinha herself, to sort out the matter.

After which, Sharma filed a complaint at the Katghar police station alleging fraud and Sinha had come down to Moradabad to record her statement. However, at present, due to her continuous absence, the court has issued a non-bailable warrant against her.

The actor was quick to deny the allegations made against her by Sharma, back in 2019. A statement was released by Sinha’s team mentioning that although she was approached for attending an event in Delhi, the organisers failed to send in payments despite reminding them multiple times. It further mentioned that the tickets for a round-trip, to and from Delhi, were also not sent in by the organisers to Sinha and her team.

“This put everyone in a tough spot…Ever since that day, Sonakshi’s management agency has been trying to reach out to the organiser to find an amicable solution, to the extent of offering an alternate date and tried to connect but to no avail,” it added.

The statement concluded that the actor and her team will pursue legal action to set the record straight if the organiser persisted with these claims.

Recently, Sonakshi Sinha participated in the Da-Bangg tour in Dubai along with Salman Khan, Pooja Hedge and Disha Patani, among others. On the professional front, the actor has finished shooting for her next film Kakuda co-starring Riteish Deshmukh and Saqib Saleem.
