When comes to the romance and comedy part of the movie Idhu Kathirvelan Kadhal has nothing new to offer to the audiences. Santhanam’s tone and sense of one liners have become very familiar among the Tamil cinema audiences and they have not help the movie much. The songs seem to have been placed at wrong junctures and the climax is unable to make the intended impact.
