A chargesheet will be filed against Dileep soon. According to a Deccan Chronicle report:
An investigation officer associated with the probe said the “drafting of the chargesheet is in final stages, but we can’t say the same will be submitted this weekend as we still await certain results which is crucial for listing out new evidence not revealed so far.”

“However, we don’t want to delay it further. Once the full scientific analysis results are out, we’ll compete the process and submit the additional chargesheet without delay,” he said. The SIT aims to close all loopholes and would list out scientific evidences and also the witness statements from over 20 persons from the film industry separately in the chargesheet.
Dileep was arrested for his alleged involvement in the abduction and assault of a Malayalam actress on July 9.
