Telugu actress Sri Reddy stripped in public on Saturday at the Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce Office in Hyderabad to protest against sexual harassment and the prevalence of casting couch in Tollywood and alleged that the Movie Artistes Association has denied her membership. The MAA, in response, has said that Sri Reddy not applied for a membership in the last 15 days.
“We held an executive committee meeting this morning to discuss the issue of suspending her. The association has all the rights to suspend, as she has insulted both the industry as well as media with her chief (cheap) publicity gimmick,” they further said, reported Hindustan Times.
