Avengers: Infinity War has made millions of money and left the fans anguishing for answers. It’s time to take a break from the Marvel Cinematic Universe and celebrate George Lucas for creating the Star Wars franchise.
May 4 is globally considered as the Star Wars Day. This is the first year after the death of actress Carrie Fisher, who played Princess Leia in the films.
From memes to fan fictions to sitcoms like How I met Your Mother and The Big Bang Theory where the major characters are big time Star Wars fanatics, this franchise has become a seminal part of pop-culture.
The day of course started with Mark Hamill, who played Luke Skywalker in the franchise, trolling fans on social media.
Then the barrage of May the Fourth posters and memes started.

The funny side apart, the 40-year-old Star Wars franchise has been a part of innovation, from talking robots to shape-shifting artificial intelligence. George Lucas’ masterpiece, in all the sense, is a true superhero space war film franchise which culturally and morally abducted its fans.
Happy Star Wars Day.
