“Seethakaathi is inspired by a stage play I saw a few years back. It was soulful act, the theatre artistes performed as if there was a huge crowd, when only a few were in the audience. After the performance, I spent some hours talking to them. I was surprised by their childlike excitement. Appreciation and applause meant a lot more to them than money. I left with lots of doubts, questions and imaginations, and that resulted in Seethakaathi.”
