Jyothika’s comeback film 36 Vayadhinile, which has done well at the Tamil box-office, will likely be dubbed into Telugu as Ravamma Mahalakshmi. Inside sources told this correspondent that a deal was recently finalized in private and the official announcement will be made soon. A leading producer has purchased the Telugu rights of both this movie and Rakshakudu, the Telugu version of Masss.
While there were reports that the movie would be remade into Telugu with a popular star, the filmmakers seem to have settled on a dubbed version. 36 Vayadhinile was produced by Suriya’s 2D Entertainment. Jyothika’s Mozhi, one of her last films before she tied the knot with Suriya, was well received in Telugu when it was dubbed as Maatarani Mounamidi.
