Vanity Fair magazine’s Hollywood cover featured all the A-listers in designer wears and striking their best pose for the magazine’s 2018 portfolio. Photographed by award winning portrait photographer Annie Leibovitz, the Hollywood cover, apart from featuring celebrities like Robert De Niro, Gal Gadot, Zendaya, Tom Hanks, Nicole Kidman, Michael B Jordan, Claire Foy, Jessica Chastain, Michael Shannon and Harrison Ford, also featured two photoshop fails and an omission.
Reese Witherspoon, seen leaning on Oprah Winfrey who hugs her waist, is seen standing on three legs. While it isn’t conspicuous at first glance, several Twitter users showed how awkward it actually looks.
im tryna figure out how many legs reese witherspoon’s got in here, it’s been bothering me for the last five minutes pic.twitter.com/u1uQ63sDdd

Photoshop fail gave Oprah Winfrey three hands and Reese Witherspoon three legs in Vanity Fair. ? pic.twitter.com/htVBIUujsE

Reese and Oprah, however, took the botched photoshop in good spirits and poked fun at each other on Twitter.
Well…I guess everybody knows now…I have 3 legs. I hope you can still accept me for who I am. ?( and I will never apologize for snuggling @Oprah .. if you get the opportunity, I highly recommend it;) https://t.co/6GyrfWxNSY

I accept your 3d leg. As I know you accept my 3d hand??????❤️

Vanity Fair said that would correct the image of a three-hand Oprah Winfrey online, but the Reese Witherspoon picture was really the line of her dress.
While we would have loved the exclusive on @RWitherspoon‘s three legs, unfortunately it’s just the lining of her dress. https://t.co/HJjvbc037S

As for @Oprah, how can we expect her to juggle it all with just two hands?

Meanwhile, James Franco, who was scheduled to be photographed in the same cover along with an interview, was dropped in the last minute. Over the past few weeks, allegations of his sexual misconduct made headlines. Owing to that Vanity Fair confirmed that they removed Franco from the cover.
“We made a decision not to include Franco on the Hollywood cover once we learned of the misconduct allegations against him,” confirmed the publication to The Hollywood Reporter.
