Actor Suriya will play a major role in Director Pandiraj’s next project. The director is currently busy finishing up his STR-Nayanthara starrer Idhu Namma Aalu and will reportedly move on to the Suriya project. The as yet untitled movie will be bankrolled by Suriya’s 2D Entertainment Pvt Ltd, named after his two kids-Diya and Dev with actress wife Jyothika.

The film is said to be kid-centric, like his debut-Pasanga and will have actor Sathyan in a pivotal role. It is being said that Pandiraj initially approached Suriya in order to get Jyothikas permission to act in the film, but Suriya signed on as producer instead. There is no word yet on Jyothikas involvement in the project and the actor’s spokesperson chose not to comment on the news. Meanwhile, Idhu Namma Aalu’s first look teaser is expected to release any day now.
