Actress Aishwarya Dutta will next star in a comedy-thriller, a film on gaming titled PUBG or Polladha Ulagil Bayangara Game. The film has five leading women, and is directed by Vijay Sri G, the director of Dha Dha 87.
The team recently wrapped up the first schedule of shoot. The director says, “The five actors lead this film, with Aishwarya Dutta as the protagonist. Like in an actual PUBG game, they are the players who join the game to get to the happy ending. Motta Rajendran plays a CBI officer, and has a comic role. Bigg Boss contestant Julie is also part of Rajendran’s team. The film is a thriller that tells a socially conscious story.”
He added that the cast includes other senior actors who haven’t been seen on screen in a while. “We’ll make more announcements soon. We are planning a release by this year end,” he said.
Vijay Sri G made his directorial debut Dha Dha 87, which released in March this year. The film starred Charu Haasan as an old don, Saroja as his wife and comedian Janagaraj in an important role. The director is currently also busy with a film called Peter, starring actor Ravichandran’s son Hamsavardhan in the lead.
